We held our annual Bonfire and firework party this year with a great number of visitors in attendance, starting with delicious and warming snacks at the pavilion. Many families came with children from thoughout the Mowden community and watched the spectacular fireworks over Park Field before adjourning to the bonfire, guided by the Jack ‘O Lanterns. The huge bonfire went up quickly and burned furiously in the gusty wind. It was a fabulous evening, conducted in a friendly and exciting atmosphere around the fire and the dark lawns.
