We are pleased to announce that the inaugural Mowden Hall Parent and Child Clay Pigeon Shooting Competition will be taking place on Saturday, 7 May at the Bywell Shooting Ground, Bywell Farm, Felton, Northumberland, NE65 9QQ. The competition starts at 10.00 am and will finish at approximately 2.00 pm.
The competition is open to pupils aged 10 and above, although exceptions may be made for younger pupils depending on previous shooting experience. Teams will consist of one parent and one pupil, with each pair shooting 30 clays, split over two sessions. There will be a coffee break between sessions and a lunch, with prize giving, in the clubhouse afterwards.
The cost of entry is £50 per pair; all equipment, refreshments and lunch is included. You are more than welcome to bring your own gun should you wish to, or Bywell will be happy to provide you with one.
If you would like to take part in the competition, please complete and return the attached booking form to Mrs Vivienne Smales in the School Office. Entry forms and fees must be received by Friday, 5 March. Cheques should be made payable to the Cothill Educational Trust.
